Urban concentration of services and its impact on development in the Green Mountain region.

The Study Revealed that the 1966 Qasr AL-Jedi plan covered approximately 4.1 hectares, the 1984 master plan covered approximately 18 hectares, and the 2009 urban plan covered approximately 46.7 hectares, During the period of granting hosing loans under the states hosing policies, the area of urban use increased, in the field study period from 2025, the existing urban mass reached approximately 97.3 hectares, bringing the total urban landscape for the four the phases to approximately(1966 - 2025) 164.4hectares. The researcher proposed an alternative site, west of the city adjacent to the regional road, covering approximately 18.4 hectares. This site is suitable for the open area, allowing for urban expansion without limiting its reach during the fourth generation period in the line with the increasing population growth in region.
