Article Submission and Publication Guidelines

**Accepted Article Types**

**A. Original Research Articles**

 

The *Journal of the Libyan Geographical Society* publishes original, high-quality research articles in the field of geography.

Research papers must include clear sections, such as:

Abstract and Keywords

Introduction

 

 

Results

Discussion

Conclusions

 

 

References

Tables and Figures

The total word count—from the introduction through the conclusion—must not exceed 5,000 words.

The text must be written in paragraphs and complete, linguistically clear sentences.

The number of authors must not exceed six.

The number of tables and high-quality illustrations must not exceed 15.

Approximately 40 references may be included.

 

In addition to the articles mentioned above, the *Journal of the Libyan Geographical Society* welcomes "Letters to the Editor" for publication at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief, following consultation with the editorial board if necessary. Such letters may comment on a previously published paper, highlight new developments in the field, or address any other relevant issue. Letters must not exceed 750 words.
