Von Thünen and Urban Expansion

Abstract

This explains the agricultural patterns near Egyptian regions, which align with von Thünen's theory. Generally, the main determining factor is transportation costs in the Gogi region. When this is the case, agricultural land use patterns decrease in density with increasing distance from the city. Von Thünen's theory is still applicable in the most volatile parts of the world.
