Vol. 7 No. 2 (2026): Volume 7, Issue 2, 2026
Editorial
With great pride and appreciation—and a steadfast belief in the mission and responsibility of scholarship—we are delighted to reconnect with you upon the release of the second issue of Volume 7 of the *Journal of the Libyan Geographical Society*. Together, we continue our journey of contribution and scientific inquiry, guided by the same rigorous approach and steady momentum that marked the journal’s return to the forefront of the academic landscape with its inaugural issue.
The continued publication of this journal represents more than just another step in our periodic agenda; it is a tangible embodiment of our aspirations to broaden geographical horizons and build bridges of scientific cooperation across the Maghreb and the wider Arab world. In this spirit, we warmly welcome the valuable research papers and studies submitted from our sister nations—the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. These contributions add significant value to the themes of this issue and reinforce the shared cultural and scientific role of our respective geographical regions.
The quality and coherence of this scholarly output are the result of the diligent and meticulous efforts of a group of distinguished academics. We therefore extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to the esteemed reviewers from Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia. Their insightful critiques and profound expertise have shaped these studies, reflecting their commitment to elevating the standards and ensuring the academic rigor of our publications. We invite you all—professors, researchers, and graduate students—to continue contributing your innovative research and your field and theoretical studies. Together, let us build a sustainable geographical resource that serves development and environmental causes in Libya, the Arab world, and Africa.
Success comes from God.
